An atheist perspective of Christianity

William_Lane_Craig

Those of you who resonate with philosophical perspectives may find insightful this exchange of letters between Dr. William Lane Craig and a young atheist.

Reading Dr. Craig’s Reasonable Faith back when I was studying apologetics over a decade ago in seminary at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School exposed me for the first time to philosophical apologetics. At that time, this was to me a whole new level of rational thought applied to the claims of Christianity far more robust than the simple “The unbeliever says____; in response I say____” type of apologetics that I had been taught as a college student.

I also recall when Dr. Craig visited my alma mater (Northwestern University) for the Veritas Forum during my undergraduate days. His lecture that evening made Christians beam with pride but also made many atheists and skeptics quite angry!
